You can volunteer to help at one of our projects in Kenya, teaching,
or generally helping in a children's home.
Letter from Amy, a
volunteer from the USA
If you are a builder, carpenter, plumber and would
like a worthwhile working holiday, we can find just the job for you!
In fact, whoever you are, we are sure that you could
make a difference in Kenya.
You can also help within the UK:
We raise funds by selling stuff that has been donated
to us, usually on eBay. We also accept cash donations. You can also
donate to a particular project, sponsor a child, provide school equipment,
etc.
You can help by donating working I.T. equipment that
we can sell to raise funds.
If you want to raise funds for KCIS, or for a particular
project that we are running, please contact us with your ideas, car
boot sales, charity auctions, etc.
Funds raised for the Silverstone Junior Academy will
be acknowledged with a mention within the school of your, or your organisation's/community's
effort. E.g., if you raise enough to build a classroom, you will be
able to choose its name. Every desk that is provided through donation
is marked with the donor's name.
For any fund-raising effort, you will be mentioned
on this website and the website of the organisation you are helping.
